SUMMARY
The IT Analyst Level 2 position is a versatile role responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to end- users, managing helpdesk operations, and addressing complex systems administration tasks. This role ensures the efficient operation of IT systems and serves as the primary point of contact for technical issues within the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary resource for helpdesk operations, resolving tickets related to hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Provide timely and effective support to end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain IT systems, including servers, network devices, and enterprise applications.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Support and maintain enterprise applications, ensuring system availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
  • Perform system administration tasks, such as user account management, backup monitoring, and security updates.
  • Create and update technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring technical issues and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security best practices and compliance requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to manage helpdesk operations effectively.
  • Experience with troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Working Environment: An office setting in Tempe AZ USA.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting while working on computers and other devices.
    • Standing and Walking: Occasional standing and walking, especially when providing in-person support or moving equipment.
    • Lifting and Carrying: Lifting and carrying computer equipment, peripherals, and other IT-related items, typically up to 25 pounds.
    • Reaching and Handling: Frequent reaching and handling of devices, cables, and other IT equipment.
    • Keyboarding: Extensive use of keyboards for data entry, coding, and other computer-related tasks.
    • Fine Motor Skills: Using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls, including fine manipulation for tasks like connecting cables or replacing components.
    • Visual Acuity: Close visual work for reading screens, manuals, and technical documents.
    • Bending and Crouching: Occasional bending, crouching, or kneeling to set up or troubleshoot equipment.
Travel Requirements: None. Some optional opportunity to travel to other AGC Group sites throughout the globe.

AGC follows all required OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standard industry guidelines in-regards to the use of personal protective equipment and safety training required for the specific job function.
