Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator
Location: Tempe, AZ | Full-TimeAbout the Role
AGC Multi Material America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to lead and support workplace safety, environmental compliance, and employee health initiatives within our manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations, administering safety programs, conducting training, investigating incidents, and promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.What You’ll Do
- Manage and maintain company EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and risk mitigation activities.
- Lead employee safety training, orientation programs, and Safety Committee initiatives.
- Investigate workplace injuries, near misses, and safety incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain OSHA logs, workers' compensation records, and EHS documentation.
- Monitor environmental compliance activities, reporting requirements, and hazardous waste management.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Leadership teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Promote a proactive, employee-focused safety culture across all departments.
- All other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety programs, and incident investigations.
- Experience conducting safety training, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry
- ASP or CSP Certification
- First Aid/CPR/AED
- ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 Auditor Certification
